Position Summary
Infleqtion is seeking an experienced, customer-focused Senior IT Service Desk Analyst to provide advanced cross-platform technical support and serve as the primary white-glove support lead for the Executive Leadership Team. This senior individual contributor will resolve complex escalations, support business and engineering environments, coordinate high-impact incidents, and improve service quality through documentation, automation, and knowledge sharing.
The ideal candidate combines broad technical expertise with discretion, sound judgment, calm communication, and end-to-end ownership.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the senior service desk escalation point and primary white-glove ELT support lead, anticipating meeting, travel, calendar, device, connectivity, and access needs.
- Support Windows, Ubuntu/Linux, macOS, mobile devices, telephony, and company-managed endpoints; provision laptops, loaners, peripherals, engineering workstations, and lab computers.
- Troubleshoot Ubuntu/Linux, WSL, dual-boot systems, GRUB, kernels, Secure Boot, drivers, Bash, SSH, packages, permissions, DNS, VPN, remote access, displays, docks, and application licensing.
- Administer approved Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft 365, Exchange, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, mailbox, calendar, distribution-group, password-management, MFA, SSO, licensing, and permission requests.
- Resolve network, Wi-Fi, DNS, DHCP, VPN, certificate, remote-access, and connectivity issues across supported operating systems and company locations.
- Install and troubleshoot business, engineering, scientific, development, and laboratory applications, including administrative approvals, dependencies, specialized drivers, license services, and vendor coordination.
- Support hardware, printers, scanners, meeting rooms, audiovisual systems, cameras, displays, docks, USB and serial devices, laboratory peripherals, and other technical equipment.
- Triage phishing, quarantined email, suspicious activity, endpoint-security issues, encryption, and access concerns while following security and change controls.
- Coordinate onboarding, offboarding, equipment assignment, account readiness, software access, employee changes, hardware replacement, warranty, recovery, and asset-return activities.
- Coordinate service desk response during high-impact incidents; document business impact, evidence, actions, workarounds, escalation needs, and verified restoration.
- Maintain complete ticket records, knowledge articles, build procedures, runbooks, and known fixes; identify recurring issues and opportunities for standardization, scripting, automation, and self-service.
- Serve as a technical resource for other service desk staff and share practical cross-platform troubleshooting knowledge.
