Job description, responsibilities and duties

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Senior IT Support Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, managing IT assets, and ensuring smooth IT operations across the organization. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate helpdesk staff activities related to larger projects as required by IT management.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for end users and the Technology team, identifying and resolving technical issues effectively.

  • Manage IT ticket requests, prioritize incoming tickets, and stay informed about team assignments, requirements, and deadlines.

  • Maintain a detailed inventory of the organization's IT software and hardware assets.

  • Manage Active Directory users, groups, and policies, including creating user accounts.

  • Perform analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of desktop hardware and software problems.

  • Provide basic and routine technical assistance and advice to staff.

  • Respond to system and application failures, ensuring timely restoration to normal operation.

  • Assist IT management in identifying and developing solutions to emerging issues faced by users.

Personality requirements and skills

  • Minimum of 2+ years of related experience in IT support or a similar role.

  • Strong technical proficiency in MS Windows OS, MS Office, and MS Active Directory.

  • Experience utilizing an IT ticketing system for tracking and resolving technical issues.

  • Customer service-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills.

  • Ability to diagnose and fix technical problems quickly and efficiently.

  • Capability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.

  • Proficiency in English (B2 level or higher).
