Position Summary
The Senior IT Systems Trainer - Enterprise Applications, is responsible for leading training strategy, adoption, and enablement for enterprise technologies across the organization. This role focuses on Microsoft 365 and related platforms, including SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Power Apps, and Power Automate, as well as other enterprise systems as assigned.
This position operates as a strategic partner to IT, operational leadership, and project teams to support digital transformation initiatives, workflow optimization, and enterprise tool adoption. The Senior Trainer leads training design, delivery, and communication efforts tied to system implementations, process changes, and organizational initiatives.
Unlike application-specific training roles, this position emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, project-based work, and scalable learning solutions that drive measurable adoption and efficient use of enterprise technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Senior Resource
Serves as a subject-matter expert in enterprise applications, with deep knowledge of Microsoft 365 tools including SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Power Apps, and Power Automate, as well as related technologies and supported operational workflows.
Project-Based training & Implementation Support
Serves as the training lead for enterprise technology projects and organizational initiatives, partnering with IT, operational leadership, and project teams to assess training needs and define effective delivery strategies.
Curriculum Development & Content Design
Designs, develops, and maintains high-quality training materials for enterprise applications, including instructor-led content, eLearning modules, and workflow-based documentation.
Training Delivery & Adoption Support
Delivers instructor-led, virtual, and asynchronous training sessions to support enterprise technology adoption across a wide range of user groups. Facilitates workshops, targeted sessions, and structured learning experiences that reinforce best practices and effective system usage.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
Builds and maintains strong working relationships with IT, Communications, and operational leadership to support enterprise training initiatives.
Governance & Best Practices
Supports governance efforts related to enterprise applications by reinforcing best practices for tool usage, collaboration, and workflow management. Provides guidance on effective use of platforms such as SharePoint, OneDrive, and Power Platform tools, including Power Apps and Power Automate.
Leadership & Contribution
Contributes to team and organizational success by mentoring peers, sharing knowledge, and supporting cross-functional initiatives.
Professional Development
Maintains current knowledge of enterprise technologies, including Microsoft 365 tools and emerging platforms.

Experience
The posted pay range is Boston Children's reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting.
Any base pay offer provided depends on skills, experience, education, certifications, and a variety of other job-related factors.
