Senior JAVA/API Developer

Our Client, an IT Services and Consultant company, is looking for a Senior JAVA/API Developer for their Mount Laurel, NJ/Hybrid location.

Responsibilities:

• Backend Responsibilities (Java)
• Develop microservices using Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, Hibernate.
• Design and manage relational/non-relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB).
• Implement business logic, validation, and error handling.
• Integrate third-party services and APIs.
• Write unit and integration tests using JUnit, Mockito.
• Ensure code quality through design patterns, best practices, and code reviews.
• Knowledge of event-driven architecture (Kafka)
• Lead the technical design, development, and implementation of software solutions.
• Define application architecture, design patterns, and coding standards.
• Make key technology and framework decisions aligned with business goals.
• Review and approve technical designs, code changes, and deployment plans.
