Job Description
Our client, an IT Services and Consulting company, is looking for a Senior Java Backend Engineer for their Plano, TX location.
Responsibilities:
- As a Senior Java Backend Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and microservices. The ideal candidate will have strong Java expertise and experience working within cloud-enabled enterprise environments.
- Design and develop backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise solutions.
- Perform code reviews, testing, and production support.
- Improve application performance, security, and scalability.
- Participate in Agile development activities.
Requirements:
- 11-13 years of IT experience.
- AWS Certification (Developer or Associate) required.
- Strong Java J2EE and Spring Boot experience.
- Experience with REST APIs, microservices, and Docker.
- Knowledge of relational databases and Hibernate.
- Familiarity with AWS services and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
