In this contingent resource assignment, you may: Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Software Engineering and contribute to large-scale planning related to Software Engineering deliverables. Review and analyze moderately complex Software Engineering challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet Software Engineering deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. Collaborate with client personnel in Software Engineering. Required Qualifications: 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.

PROJECT DETAILS
This contractor will be working with Integration team servicing responsible for development and ensuring clean data movement between lending origination systems. This person will be working on two supporting the execution of two different projects but may be asked to perform additional tasks as needed.

DUTIES
- Write, test, and debug Java code to support application development.
- Collaborate with team members to design and implement new features.
- Assist in maintaining and improving existing codebases.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
- Work with databases, APIs, and other backend technologies as needed.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues.
- Document code and processes for future reference.
- Stay updated with the latest Java technologies and frameworks.

TOP SKILLS
- Basic knowledge of Java programming language and object-oriented programming principles.
- Familiarity with Java frameworks such as Spring or Hibernate is a plus.
- Understanding of relational databases and SQL.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
- Exposure to web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Knowledge of building tools like Maven or Gradle. (Dev-ops tools)
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Experience with unit testing frameworks like JUnit.
