Arobas personnel is looking for a Senior Java Developer for a remote contract (US) with one of our clients.

What will your day-to-day look like?

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer with a strong foundation in modern software engineering and DevOps principles. The ideal candidate demonstrates deep technical expertise as well as a solid understanding of best practices across the full development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities and qualifications include:
  • Advanced experience with software engineering concepts and methodologies (e.g., Object-Oriented Programming, design patterns)
  • Strong knowledge of software development best practices (e.g., use of static code analyzers)
  • Proven experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD), or extensive knowledge of software testing standards and best practices
  • Strong proficiency in Java
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, patterns, and best practices
  • Solid DevOps experience or knowledge, including:
    • Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS)
    • Docker
    • Kubernetes
