Java 17+/21; Spring Boot and Spring Cloud; REST and GraphQL; microservices; relational databases, including PostgreSQL and Amazon Aurora; NoSQL databases, including DynamoDB; JPA and Hibernate; JUnit and Mockito; API design; and security protocols, including OAuth 2.0/OIDC, JWT, and mTLS.
Cloud and Frontend: AWS and Angular
AWS services, including ROSA, EKS, ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, DynamoDB, RDS/Aurora, CloudWatch, IAM, and VPC; Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation; CI/CD using GitLab or Jenkins; and frontend development using Angular 14+, TypeScript, and RxJS.
Engineering Tools and Practices
Git; Maven or Gradle; IntelliJ IDEA; SonarQube; Docker; Kubernetes; Postman or Insomnia; OpenAPI/Swagger; Grafana and Prometheus; Open Telemetry; Jira and Confluence; feature-flag management using Launch Darkly; code quality; and secure software development lifecycle practices.
Mandatory Skills:
Payments: PCI DSS, tokenization, 3-D Secure, ISO 20022, RTP, ACH, SWIFT, settlement and reconciliation, chargebacks, and fraud signals.
Generative AI: Retrieval-augmented generation, Amazon Bedrock or OpenAI, embeddings, governance, and personally identifiable information controls.
Data: Apache Spark, AWS Glue, and Amazon Athena.
Site Reliability Engineering: Service-level objectives and error budgets.
Programming: Python.
