Akkodis is seeking a Senior Java Full Stack Developer for a Contract with a client in Naperville, IL. The ideal candidate is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting scalable cloud-native applications, microservices, and enterprise web solutions while ensuring application performance, security, and reliability.

Rate Range: $34/hour to $45/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Senior Java Full Stack Developer Job Responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-grade web applications, RESTful APIs, and microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and modern software development practices.

• Build and support scalable cloud-native solutions on AWS utilizing services such as EC2, ECS, Lambda, S3, RDS, API Gateway, and CloudWatch.

• Develop and optimize database solutions using Microsoft SQL Server, including T-SQL, stored procedures, query tuning, and performance optimization.

• Create and maintain modern front-end applications using Angular or React, ensuring responsive, user-friendly, and high-performance interfaces.

• Implement CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and deployment automation using Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and DevOps best practices.

• Collaborate with architects, business analysts, QA teams, and stakeholders to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable software solutions in an Agile environment.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Engineering, or a related technical field.

• 10+ years of experience in Full Stack Development, Enterprise Application Development, and Cloud-Native Solution Delivery.

• Strong hands-on expertise in Java (8/11/17), Spring Boot, Microservices, REST API Development, AWS Cloud Services (EC2, ECS, Lambda, S3, RDS, API Gateway, CloudWatch), and Microsoft SQL Server.

• Proven experience with Angular or React, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, DevOps practices, and building scalable, secure, high-performance enterprise applications in Agile environments.

Pay Details: $34.00 to $45.00 per hour
