Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a Senior Java Full Stack Developer for a Contract with a client in Naperville, IL. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and support scalable enterprise applications while driving microservices-based solutions and cloud-native development.

Rate Range: $37/Hour to $43/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Senior Java Full Stack Developer Job Responsibilities include:

  • Design, develop, maintain high-performance, scalable enterprise applications using Core Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.

  • Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and cloud-based solutions on AWS to support business and application requirements.

  • Design, optimize, and manage database solutions using Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.

  • Deploy, monitor, and support applications on WebLogic and Apache Tomcat while ensuring high availability and performance.

  • Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective solutions to maintain system stability.

  • Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders, participate in code reviews, and mentor junior developers while adhering to secure coding and banking industry standards.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

  • 10+ years of experience in Java application development, enterprise software engineering, and banking domain projects.

  • Strong hands-on expertise in Core Java, Spring Boot, Microservices architecture, AWS, and RESTful API development.

  • Proven experience with Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB databases, along with application deployment and support on WebLogic and Apache Tomcat environments.

Pay Details: $37.00 to $43.00 per hour
