Job Description

Position: Senior Java Full Stack Engineer – IT Operations Automation
Location: Austin, TX – Onsite
Employment Type: W2 Only
Rate: $50–$53/hour on W2

Key Requirements:
  • 5+ years of production experience with Java/Spring Boot, REST APIs, Spring Security, Spring Data, and transaction management.
  • 3+ years of React, JavaScript/TypeScript, hooks, state management, and data grids.
  • Strong Linux, Shell Scripting, Ansible, and Splunk experience.
  • Hands-on Oracle & PostgreSQL, complex SQL, PL/SQL, query tuning, indexing, transactions, locking, and database consistency.
  • Experience building production automation workflows with retries, idempotency, checkpointing, failure recovery, and rollback.
  • Experience automating operational activities such as credential rotation, patching, certificate renewal, or failover with proper validation and recovery.
  • Experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM APIs, including incidents, change requests, and approvals.
  • Strong understanding of unit/integration testing, code reviews, and CI/CD practices.

Nice to Have:
Temporal, Camunda, Rundeck, Airflow, JS7/JobScheduler, Spring Batch, Quartz, Vault/CyberArk, OAuth2/OIDC, Kafka, Redis, Docker, and Jenkins.
