    Description

    Senior JFrog Administrator
    Contract Length:  12+ months
    Location: Dallas, Texas (hybrid – 3 days onsite) ****LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY****

    We are seeking a Senior JFrog Administrator with deep, hands-on experience administering and supporting JFrog platforms in an enterprise environment. This is a specialized JFrog-focused role, not a general DevOps position. The ideal candidate will have significant experience configuring, maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing JFrog Artifactory and Xray, along with a strong understanding of how JFrog integrates into enterprise CI/CD and software development environments.

    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
    • JFrog certification is a plus
    • 5+ years of hands-on JFrog administration experience in an enterprise environment
    • Deep experience administering, configuring, maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting JFrog Artifactory and Xray
    • Strong understanding of JFrog repository management, permissions, access controls, integrations, security policies, and artifact lifecycle management
    • Experience supporting JFrog security and platform capabilities such as Advanced Security, Curation, Distribution, Runtime, or AppTrust
    • Demonstrated experience resolving JFrog-related production issues and supporting enterprise users and development teams
    • Experience integrating JFrog with CI/CD and software development workflows
    • Experience with GitLab and enterprise CI/CD environments
    • Working knowledge of Terraform and/or Ansible
    • Working knowledge of Kubernetes or OpenShift and containerized environments
    • Exposure to cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or IBM Cloud
    • Strong scripting or programming skills
    • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
    • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
    • Ability to participate in a rotating 24/7 on-call schedule

    Responsibilities:
    • Administer, configure, maintain, and support JFrog Artifactory and Xray in an enterprise environment
    • Manage JFrog repositories, permissions, access controls, integrations, security configurations, and artifact lifecycle processes
    • Monitor JFrog platform health, troubleshoot issues, and resolve production incidents
    • Support JFrog security and platform capabilities, including Advanced Security, Curation, Distribution, Runtime, and AppTrust
    • Partner with application and development teams to support JFrog onboarding and integration with CI/CD workflows
    • Configure and maintain integrations between JFrog and GitLab or other enterprise development tools
    • Develop and maintain automation to streamline JFrog administration, operational tasks, and incident remediation
    • Support CI/CD pipelines and related workflows where they integrate with the JFrog platform
    • Assist with JFrog platform upgrades, migrations, configuration changes, and modernization initiatives
    • Establish and maintain policies, standards, and guardrails related to artifact management, security, compliance, and software quality
    • Develop and maintain runbooks, technical documentation, knowledge articles, and operational procedures
    • Collaborate with application, infrastructure, security, and engineering teams to resolve issues and improve JFrog services
    • Identify opportunities to improve JFrog platform performance, reliability, automation, and overall user experience
    • Participate in a rotating 24/7 on-call schedule and provide timely support for critical issues
