Senior Job‑Shop CNC Milling Machinist

If you thrive on variety over volume, this role is for you. We’re a job shop—not a production line—seeking a seasoned machinist to take ownership of set up and operation on Haas CNC milling centers.

Role snapshot

• Environment: Custom, low-volume job shop (not production)
• Core Focus: Precision machining via Haas CNC mills—from setup through safe, accurate operation
• Experience: 5–10 years hands-on; deep Haas setup/operation know-how (experience with HAAS is a plus)

Key responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and operate basic through advanced machine tools to produce precision parts
• Align and secure fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines
• Use overhead cranes to position heavy components safely
• Monitor feeds/speeds and make edits as needed during machining
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and engineering information to determine operation sequences, fabrication methods, dimensions, and tolerances
• Select appropriate tools, machines, and materials to prepare work
• Work independently while contributing to a collaborative team; minimal supervision required

• Proven judgment in tool selection and workholding

Pay $28-$35Hr Based upon experience
