Our client, a IT Services and Consulting company, is looking for a Senior Kubernetes Platform Analyst for their Durham, NC location.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Exposure to observability tools including Prometheus, Grafana, and logging systems
  • Contribute to the design, implementation, and operation of Kubernetes platforms in FedRAMP High and IL5 environments
  • Support day to day reliability and performance of platform services, including monitoring and alerting
  • Implement automation and tooling to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort
  • Work with senior engineers to define and track SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets
  • Assist in maintaining compliance and security requirements, including support for audits and continuous monitoring
  • Contribute to Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipeline improvements
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams such as Security, Platform, and Application teams to resolve issues and deliver platform capabilities
 
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering.
  • Proven experience designing and operating enterprise Kubernetes platforms in production.
  • Experience working within highly regulated cloud environments supporting security and compliance requirements.
  • Kubernetes (Production grade, FedRAMP High / IL5 environments)
  • Automation & IaC (Terraform, CI/CD, Python/Go)
  • Cloud Platforms & Observability (AWS/Azure, Prometheus, Grafana)
  • 6–10 years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or platform engineering roles
  • Experience with Kubernetes in production environments
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or similar (GovCloud is a plus)
  • Solid understanding of Linux systems, networking, and containerization
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform
  • Proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as Python or Go
