This is a highly technical, lab-focused role where problem-solving, creativity, and precision matter every day.

What You’ll Do

  • Run detailed testing to measure temperature rise vs. electrical load and cooling conditions

  • Design, build, and improve electrical, mechanical, and thermal test setups

  • Modify and fabricate custom test fixtures to enhance lab efficiency and accuracy

  • Collect, analyze, and summarize test data using Excel, PowerPoint, and internal systems

  • Work across engineering groups to troubleshoot product and setup challenges

  • Ensure test equipment calibration and lab readiness standards are maintained

  • Prepare and install thermocouples and precision measurement setups

What You Bring

  • Associate’s Degree in Electronics, Electro-Mechanical Technology, or equivalent experience

  • 7+ years of hands-on lab or engineering support experience

  • Strong understanding of AC/DC circuits and power systems

  • Experience with lab instruments:

    • Multimeters

    • Power supplies

    • Electronic loads

    • Power analyzers

    • Data acquisition systems

  • Ability to interpret schematics, drawings, and test specifications

  • Strong soldering skills and thermocouple preparation experience

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office tools

  • Clear communication skills for documenting and presenting test results

  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on engineering environment

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)

  • Liquid cooling systems (chillers, cold plates, pressure setups)

  • Understanding of thermal resistance and heat transfer concepts

  • Basic machining (drill press, milling machine, Cu/Al stock)

  • Experience with FLIR thermal imaging systems

  • LabVIEW or similar automation tools

  • Oscilloscope operation and troubleshooting

Why This Role Matters

Your work directly impacts product performance, reliability, and innovation in advanced power systems. You’ll be a key part of the lab team turning engineering concepts into validated, production-ready technology.
