Senior Legal Counsel (Clinical Trials & Research) - 175181

Responsibilities: of the Senior Legal Counsel: Lead the drafting, review, and negotiation of commercial agreements, including customer, vendor, consulting, confidentiality, and partnership contracts. Partner with Business Development, Clinical Operations, and other stakeholders to identify and mitigate legal and contractual risks. Provide legal counsel on commercial, employment, privacy, compliance, and corporate matters while balancing business objectives and risk management. Support regulatory matters, employment issues, disputes, investigations, and strategic business initiatives, including acquisitions and due diligence activities. Collaborate with global legal teams to enhance compliance programs, legal frameworks, and operational efficiencies. Requirements of the Senior Legal Counsel: Juris Doctor (JD) and admission to practice law in a relevant U.S. jurisdiction. 12+ years of legal experience in private practice, in-house counsel, or a combination of both. Prior experience in life sciences, CRO, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or clinical research environments. Strong background in complex commercial contracting, contract negotiation, and risk management. Experience supporting multinational organizations and cross-border business operations. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities with a practical, business-focused approach. Compensation: for the Senior Legal Counsel: Salary range: $150,000 - $180,000 depending on experience.
