Senior Legal Intake Specialist – Personal Injury / Workers' Compensation

This is not an entry-level intake or legal support position.

We are seeking those candidates with strong backgrounds in Personal Injury and/or Workers' Compensation.

Intake is a critical part of this practice. This person will be trusted to evaluate prospective matters, recognize strong cases, identify potential issues, and help determine which opportunities the firm should pursue.

The Role

• Speak directly with prospective clients and evaluate potential claims
• Assess liability, injuries, damages, coverage, treatment, timing, and other relevant factors
• Recognize which cases have value and which the firm should decline
• Identify potential issues, additional claims, defendants, or legal opportunities
• Recognize matters that may be appropriate for referral to another attorney or firm
• Communicate case assessments clearly to attorneys and leadership
• Help move strong cases efficiently through the intake process

What We're Looking For

-Candidates should have several years of meaningful experience within Personal Injury and/or Workers' Compensation. Your background may come from intake, case management, paralegal work, or claims evaluation.

***Previous / Current Attorneys, who love the work but no longer wish to litigate do VERY well within this position***

More important than your previous title is your ability to evaluate a case.

You should be able to quickly assess: Is there liability? What are the injuries and damages? Is there coverage? Are there additional claims or defendants? Is this a case worth pursuing—or an opportunity that should be referred elsewhere?

We need someone who has developed that judgment through experience.
