What you will be doing:

• Lead single-plaintiff, class action, collective action, and PAGA matters through all phases of litigation.
• Collaborate with relationship partners to develop strategy and take ownership of its execution.
• Direct discovery, take and defend depositions, and work with expert witnesses.
• Draft and argue dispositive and other significant motions.
• Appear in court and represent clients at trial and in arbitration proceedings.
• Lead settlement negotiations and advocate for clients in mediations.
• Prepare complex matters for trial and arbitration.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients across a range of industries.

Experience you will need:

• At least seven years of California labor and employment litigation experience.
• Active membership in good standing with the State Bar of California.
• A Juris Doctor degree.
• The ability to independently manage significant litigation matters.
• Experience handling complex class action and PAGA matters, including class certification, dispositive motions, expert discovery, and trial preparation.
• Experience handling single-plaintiff FEHA-related claims.
• Excellent writing, analytical, advocacy, and interpersonal skills.
• Sound judgment, initiative, and a collaborative approach.
