A mission-driven professional with Mechanical Engineering experience and Secret clearance to become our next Senior LHA(R) Propulsion Engineer PMS377 in Washington, DC. Candidate will support the PMS377, Amphibious Ship Program. Position has the opportunity for remote work.
As the Senior LHA(R) Propulsion Engineer, you will:

• Responsible for all development of technical products, joint studies of problems and solutions and programmatic recommendations to the PMS377 LHA Program Manager or the HM&E team for the main propulsion system and associated equipment
• Provide system engineering, ship integration, and programmatic recommendation to the PMS377 system COG
• Conduct review of shipbuilder’s products and deliverables and preparation of analysis and recommendations for acceptance to PMS377
• Responsible for ensuring the components and systems above meet the LHA Ship Specifications Requirements
• Support development of in-line and post-delivery changes, as required, for the above systems and components, while ensuring all required technical specifications are met, and that the scope of the change is developed with the highest technical accuracy and quality
• Review Waterfront Changes and Work Item Packages to be implemented during post-delivery for identified and legacy deficiencies that require a Government assessment or resolution
• Provide review of administrative package redlines for accuracy to support configuration control processes and provide comments to the Government
• Provide technical rationale and reference material to support adjudication documented on trial cards
• Develop correspondence routing packages for Deviations, Waivers, and Contract Letters. Develops presentation, technical summaries, and white papers to address LHA(R) technical issues to support quarter program reviews and other technical meetings
• Perform site visits to prepare for and support ship trials through shipboard familiarization of COG system areas and inspection of associated HM&E systems and equipment
