IDR is seeking a Senior Licensing Specialist to join a hybrid opportunity in Brentwood, TN. This role supports the licensing department of a retail organization, helping ensure compliance with business licensing regulations across multiple locations to facilitate smooth store operations.

Position Overview for the Senior Licensing Specialist:

  • Act as a liaison between third-party licensing administrators and internal teams to ensure timely processing of regulatory licenses and permits.
  • Collect, verify, and manage licensing data, including receipt and accuracy of licenses, violations, inspection notices, and confidential documents.
  • Monitor licensing activities to ensure all applications are correctly filed and renewals are completed on schedule.
  • Coordinate licensing projects such as license renewals, expirations, and compliance tracking for multiple stores and jurisdictions.
  • Support licensing compliance initiatives, research regulations, and improve existing licensing programs.

Requirements for the Senior Licensing Specialist:

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Ability to prioritize daily tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills for interfacing with internal teams and external agencies.
  • Experience with data entry, compliance tracking, or licensing processes (experience with licensing, compliance, or legal is a plus but not required).
