  • Set up virtual machines, storage, networks, and other cloud services on platforms in AWS and Azure.
  • Use tools to track system health, uptime, and resource usage, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Implement access controls, encryption, and security policies to protect data and meet regulatory requirements.
  • Diagnosing and resolving issues related to cloud services, connectivity, or performance.
  • Write scripts (e.g., in Bash, PowerShell, or Python) to automate repetitive tasks like backups, updates, and deployments.
  • Automate provisioning, configuration management, and patching using Ansible, Puppet, or similar tools.
  • Implement and maintain security controls in accordance with STIGs, RMF, or applicable compliance frameworks.
  • Support high-availability, clustering, and disaster recovery configurations.
  • Collaborate with RPA developers, DevOps, and network teams to ensure seamless automation pipeline operations.
  • Manage user access, certificates, and secure service accounts.
  • Support cross-functional coordination across engineering, cybersecurity, and program management teams.
  • Promote continuous improvement through feedback loops and process refinement.
  • Ensure alignment with USCG mission priorities and Leidos delivery standards.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems, Business).
  • 12+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering or or Masters with 10+ years of prior relevant experience. May possess a Doctorate in technical domain. Experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
