Candidates without an active Michigan Bar license or the required litigation background will not be considered.Job DescriptionManage and litigate complex commercial and real estate disputes from inception through resolution, including motion practice, discovery, depositions, and trial.Draft and argue dispositive motions, pleadings, and briefs with a high standard of legal writing and strategic precision.Advise clients directly on litigation strategy, risk, and options — building trusted, long-term relationships.Collaborate with attorneys across practice groups on matters with regulatory or transactional dimensions.Contribute to business development efforts with the benefit of firm-provided marketing support and mentorship.Mentor junior associates and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and professional excellence.Manage a varied caseload with autonomy, efficiency, and a commitment to outstanding client service.Qualifications5+ years of litigation experience; real estate litigation strongly preferred; general commercial litigation experience considered.Superior legal research, writing, advocacy, and communication skills.Strong academic credentials.Proven ability to manage client relationships and case strategy independently.No book of business required.#J-18808-Ljbffr
