Job Details
Seeking an Attorney to join the team as an Associate, Counsel or Partner level with a portable book of business at 200K+
Responsibilities
Manage a diverse civil litigation caseload from inception through resolution.
Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests and responses, and other litigation-related documents.
Conduct legal research and develop case strategy.
Attend depositions, hearings, mediations, settlement conferences, arbitrations, and trials.
Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and regulatory agencies.
Negotiate settlements and provide strategic legal counsel throughout the litigation process.
Collaborate with attorneys across multiple practice areas on complex legal matters.
Continue developing and expanding an existing client base while contributing to the firm's continued growth.
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
Licensed and in good standing to practice law in Massachusetts.
Minimum of seven (7) years of civil litigation experience.
Portable book of business of approximately $200,000 or more.
Strong courtroom presence and experience handling matters independently.
Excellent writing, analytical, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to grow a thriving litigation practice.
Ability to work collaboratively while maintaining an independent practice.
