A growing multi-state defense litigation firm is seeking a Senior Litigation Attorney for its Dallas office. This opportunity offers a hybrid schedule, meaningful case responsibility, courtroom experience, and professional growth within a collaborative team.

The firm handles complex litigation involving construction law, healthcare liability, oil and gas, product liability, trucking and transportation, catastrophic injury, premises liability, and insurance coverage. Candidates must have at least seven years of defense litigation experience; insurance defense experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage litigation cases from inception through resolution.

• Evaluate liability, damages, and exposure, and develop effective defense strategies.

• Draft pleadings, motions, written discovery, and substantive client reports.

• Take and defend depositions, including fact and expert witnesses.

• Represent clients at hearings and mediations.

• Participate in trial preparation and courtroom proceedings.

• Provide timely case assessments, analysis, and client communication.

• Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to manage deadlines and advance cases.

Qualifications

• Active Texas law license in good standing.

• 7+ years of defense litigation experience, preferably in insurance defense.

• Strong experience with discovery, depositions, motion practice, and mediation.

• Ability to independently manage a caseload and provide thorough reporting.

• Excellent legal research, writing, oral advocacy, and communication skills.

• A driven, detail-oriented, trial-minded approach.
