Salary: $150,000 - $200,000 per year

A bit about us:

Our client is a highly respected plaintiff side litigation firm based in Manhattan, with a history spanning more than a century. Since its founding in the early twentieth century, this company has built a reputation as one of New York's premier practices representing individuals and families harmed by serious negligence, including medical malpractice, catastrophic personal injury, and wrongful death.

The firm is known for taking on complex, high value matters rather than high volume caseloads, allowing each case team to devote significant time to investigation, expert development, and trial preparation. Its attorneys come from varied professional backgrounds, several holding advanced clinical credentials in addition to their legal training, which gives the firm a distinctive edge when evaluating and litigating cases involving medical evidence. Over the decades, this company's trial work has produced some of the state's largest verdicts and settlements, and its attorneys are regularly recognized among the top litigators in New York.

Why join us?

This is an opportunity to join a firm where trial experience isn't theoretical, it's the daily reality of the practice. Attorneys here are given real ownership of significant cases rather than being buried in a high volume docket, meaning your work product and courtroom instincts directly shape outcomes on matters that matter.

Highlights of the role include:

Direct handling of serious, often high value medical malpractice matters from intake through verdict or settlement

Collaboration with colleagues who bring clinical and nursing backgrounds into case strategy, offering a deeper bench of internal expertise than most litigation shops

A firm culture built around mentorship, with senior partners who have spent decades trying cases and are invested in developing the next generation of trial lawyers

Access to significant firm resources, including experienced support staff and modern courtroom technology, so attorneys can focus on advocacy rather than administrative burden

A long standing reputation in the New York legal community that opens doors with experts, co counsel, and the judiciary

Compensation and case credit structured to reward attorneys who build and try strong cases, not just those who generate the highest volume
