Responsibilities
- Independently manage a complex caseload from inception through resolution.
- Handle a variety of civil litigation matters, including business disputes, contract-related claims, property-related litigation, and other commercial controversies.
- Serve as lead attorney in depositions, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trial proceedings.
- Develop litigation strategy, oversee discovery, draft substantive motions, and manage all phases of case progression.
- Mentor and support junior attorneys and legal staff.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and strategic counsel.
- Participate in business development initiatives and contribute to the continued growth of the practice.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of civil litigation experience.
- Experience handling business litigation, commercial disputes, contract matters, real estate litigation, or related practice areas preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage a litigation caseload with minimal supervision.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and case management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Experience supervising, mentoring, or training junior attorneys is a plus.
- Interest in client development and long-term practice growth.
