Senior Litigation Paralegal (Boston)

The Senior Litigation Paralegal will support attorneys in managing complex litigation cases, providing vital assistance with case preparation, document review, and trial coordination across various client's litigation needs This role is based in Boston and offers an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to high-stakes litigation matters including commercial, securities, and antitrust work.

This position is with a top ranked global law firm that is hiring for their Litigation team across multiple offices. They have 20+ paralegals throughout their locations that support litigation specifically.

Description

• Assist attorneys with case preparation, including drafting legal documents and organizing case files.
• Conduct thorough document review and manage discovery processes.
• Reviews motions, briefs and other court papers prior to filing, including proofreading, cite-checking, record checking, preparing exhibits and document formatting.
• Coordinate and prepare materials for depositions, hearings, and trials.
• Maintain and update case management databases with relevant case information.
• Performs legal research using various research tools, including the Internet, Westlaw, LexisNexis, PACER, SEC/EDGAR and other media and financial services sites, and/or other court-related websites for case law, statutes, articles, books, etc.
• Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and opposing counsel.
• Ensure compliance with court deadlines and procedural requirements.
• Provide general administrative support to the litigation team as needed.

Profile

A successful Senior Litigation Paralegal should have:

• Bachelor's degree.
• 6-10 years of litigation experience - ideally within a Big Law environment.
• Strong experience with litigation processes, including document review and trial preparation - experience attending trial strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in legal research and case management software.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a busy environment.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A proactive and collaborative approach to supporting legal teams.

Job Offer

• Competitive salary ranging from $110,000 to $140,000 USD annually based on years of experience.
