Senior Living Activities Director

We are looking for a compassionate, creative, and organized Activities Director to lead our Life Enrichment program with a team of (insert #) activity assistants.  Are you passionate about enriching the lives of older adults? Pay range 54,000-60,000 based upon experience 

Schedule/Shifts: Full time, Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm with some weekends

Assisted Living Activities Director Responsibilities include: 

• Plans, schedules, and implements activities, for a seven-day week calendar. 
• Identifies the special needs of each resident and creates a plan to accommodate those needs. 
• Involves the resident in planning recreation objectives and goals for the resident. 
• Integrates resident with the community through facility activities and outings.
• Creates a strong positive image and establishes good relationships within the community, which may include press relations, promotional activities, scrapbooks, and displays in the facility. 

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Therapeutic Recreation or a related field, certification as an Activity Professional preferred. 
• Two years activities management experience preferred.
