Job Title: Senior Living Sales Director (Community Relations Director)

Location: Princeton, New Jersey 

Salary Range: $60,000-$80,000 annually plus Commission

Total Commission Earning Potential: Up to $40,000 Annually

What You'll Do

As our Community Relations Director, you will take ownership of the full sales journey—from the first inquiry to move-in and beyond.

You will:

• Drive occupancy and revenue by attracting qualified prospects and converting leads into new residents.
• Respond to inquiries, schedule appointments, conduct exceptional tours, and confidently close sales.
• Build and cultivate a strong pipeline of prospects and referral sources.
• Develop meaningful relationships with healthcare professionals, local businesses, and other professional referral partners.
• Manage leads and sales activity through YARDI or another CRM platform.
• Develop and execute creative sales and marketing strategies to outperform the competition.
• Plan and coordinate two lead-generating events each month.
• Analyze market trends, competitors, pricing, and opportunities to strengthen the community's competitive position.
• Partner closely with the Executive Director and department leaders to ensure the entire community is focused on the resident and prospect experience.
• Coordinate a seamless and welcoming move-in experience for new residents and their families.
• Help train and engage community team members in delivering outstanding customer service and supporting sales goals.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate is a relationship-driven, results-oriented sales professional with a passion for helping others.

You should bring:

• Five or more years of successful sales and/or marketing experience with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding goals.
• Strong experience in relationship-based or consultative sales.
• A demonstrated ability to identify, develop, and maintain professional referral sources.
• Exceptional communication, customer service, and presentation skills.
• Confidence in conducting tours, overcoming objections, and closing sales.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience using a CRM system; YARDI experience is a plus.
• A creative and strategic approach to solving problems and achieving goals.
• Experience working with seniors or a genuine passion for serving the senior population.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Additional Information

This position requires regular travel within the local market to develop and maintain referral relationships. Weekend and holiday coverage may occasionally be required.
