Join the U.S. operations group of a well-established global financial institution supporting commercial banking and lending activities. This team is responsible for maintaining accurate loan records, supporting post-closing transactions, and ensuring servicing activities meet contractual, operational, and regulatory standards. The environment is collaborative, detail-oriented, and focused on strong controls, responsive client service, and continuous process improvement.

Hybrid opportunity based in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Exposure to loan operations within a large, regulated financial institution.
Opportunity to contribute to servicing-system enhancements, policy updates, and operational improvements.
Collaborative work with internal banking teams, borrowers, auditors, and third-party stakeholders.
How You Will Make An Impact
Manage post-origination servicing activities throughout the loan lifecycle.
Process loan payments, principal reductions, payoffs, interest adjustments, fees, and other servicing transactions.
Review loan agreements and supporting documentation to confirm that system records are accurate and complete.
Research and resolve payment discrepancies, account exceptions, and servicing errors.
Respond to inquiries from borrowers, internal business partners, and third parties regarding loan status and transaction activity.
Maintain complete loan files and servicing records in accordance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
Perform account reconciliations and investigate outstanding or unmatched items.
Prepare reports and documentation for audits, compliance reviews, management reporting, and financial control processes.
Support servicing-system upgrades, user testing, procedural changes, and operational improvement initiatives.
Partner with lending, finance, risk, compliance, and operations teams to resolve complex servicing matters.
Are You an Experienced Loan Servicing Professional Ready to Make an Impact?
Extensive experience in loan servicing, loan operations, commercial banking operations, or a closely related financial-services function.
Senior-level experience handling complex loan transactions, exceptions, reconciliations, and documentation.
Strong understanding of post-closing loan activities, including payments, payoffs, adjustments, fees, and account maintenance.
Experience reviewing loan agreements and translating contractual terms into servicing-system actions.
Familiarity with loan servicing platforms, banking systems, and financial documentation.
Working knowledge of regulatory, audit, and control requirements affecting loan servicing.
Strong analytical and investigative skills with the ability to resolve account discrepancies accurately.
Advanced organizational skills and close attention to transactional detail.
Clear written and verbal communication skills for interacting with borrowers and internal stakeholders.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Ability to manage competing deadlines in a controlled, high-volume banking environment.
Experience supporting system implementations, user acceptance testing, or process-improvement initiatives is preferred.
