Hire Sync is seeking an experienced Senior Machinist to join a well-established manufacturing facility in Cleveland, OH. IMPORTANT – FLEX SHIFT REQUIREMENT

This position requires complete flexibility to work ANY shift (1st, 2nd, or 3rd). Candidates must be available and willing to work whichever shift they are assigned. Your specific shift will be determined and communicated at the time of the job offer. Candidates who can only work a particular shift will not be considered.

What You'll Do

• Set up and operate die room machinery to produce precision tooling and components.
• Operate engine lathes, EDM machines, drill presses, shapers, grinders, saws, manual Bridgeport mills, horizontal mills, CNC lathes, mills, and boring mills.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Utilize micrometers, calipers, and precision measuring instruments to verify accuracy.
• Monitor equipment performance, tooling conditions, and cutting fluid levels.
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
• Perform routine machine maintenance, including lubrication and coolant management.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all plant safety procedures and regulations.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 4 years of machining experience or related training preferred.
• Vocational training or a machining apprenticeship is a plus.
• Experience operating both manual and CNC machinery.
• Strong blueprint reading and precision measurement skills.
• Intermediate to advanced mathematical abilities.
• Knowledge of metal properties and machining processes.
• Familiarity with lockout/tagout procedures.
• Experience operating overhead cranes.
• Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Must be comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with noise and temperature fluctuations.
• Must have open availability for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts.

Work Environment
