We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team for a 6-month duration, with the possibility of extension. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mainframe development and experience in managing offshore teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications
8 years of experience with COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, CICS, ChangeMan, File Aid/File Manager, DFSORT, Syncsort, and Easytrieve
Experience in developing high-performing, scalable, and innovative end-to-end applications
Experience in migration from legacy to distributed systems
Strong understanding of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, and Testing Techniques
Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry
Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
Experience working with API through middleware
Strong technical and analytical capabilities
Ability to work independently and take ownership of business requirements
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Write code that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the selected technology for the project
Understand performance parameters and assess application performance
Collaborate with other technical partners and Product Owners
