Our client, a manufacturing leader, is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician (2nd Shift) to join their team. As a Senior Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the Production and Maintenance teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and leadership abilities which will align successfully in the organization.
 
Job Title: Senior Maintenance Technician (2nd Shift hours 3:00pm - 11:00pm)
Location: Indianapolis, IN
Pay Range: Competitive $30-$38/hour (+$1.50 shift premium) based on experience
 
What’s the Job?

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment including PLC, CNC, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Develop and execute preventive maintenance programs and procedures
  • Lead and support maintenance team members through coaching and training
  • Prioritize and manage work orders while ensuring safety and quality standards
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities for equipment and processes
 
What’s Needed?
  • High school diploma (or equivalent) and 5+ years of maintenance experience OR technical degree with 1+ year relevant experience
  • Strong technical skills across electrical, mechanical, and automated manufacturing systems
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation
  • Proficiency with basic computer tools (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
