Senior Mammography Technologist<\/b>

(Principal Accountabilities)<\/b>
<\/p>
As a Senior Mammography Technologist, you will be a leader
in providing exceptional diagnostic care:
<\/p>
- Perform
Advanced Mammography Exams:<\/b> Expertly conduct all required mammography
radiographic exams, ensuring strict compliance with all radiation safety
protocols. This includes patient preparation, procedure explanation,
administering contrast (when necessary), precise patient positioning,
selecting optimal imaging techniques, and ensuring the highest technical
quality of all images.
<\/li> - Equipment
Quality & Accreditation:<\/b> Execute and document quality assurance
(QA) checks on mammography equipment. You will also assist with initial
and renewal applications for ACR and other key accreditations.<\/b>
<\/li> - Patient
Data Management:<\/b> Accurately enter and monitor essential patient data.
<\/li> - Safety
& Reporting:<\/b> Maintain a safe environment for patients, staff, and
visitors, promptly identifying and reporting any accidents, complaints, or
equipment malfunctions to management.
<\/li> - On -Call
Service:<\/b> Participate in the department's emergency call rotation.
<\/li> - Professional
Growth & Mentorship:<\/b> Actively pursue continuing education and
skills competency. Serve as a preceptor, mentor, and resource<\/b> to
less experienced technologists, supporting departmental and organizational
goals.
<\/li><\/ul>Adherence to Standards:<\/span><\/b> Consistently adhere to all Memorial Hermann
policies, procedures, and standards within budgetary guidelines.<\/span>

Requirements<\/h3>
(Minimum Qualifications)<\/b>
<\/p>
Education & Certifications<\/b>
<\/p>- Required
Education:<\/b> Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic
Technology<\/b> AND an approved program of Mammography Technology<\/b>.
<\/li> - Licenses/Certifications:<\/b>
<\/li>- Certified
in Basic or Advanced Life Support (BLS/ACLS)<\/b>.
<\/li> - Current
or Temporary Texas Medical Board (TMB) License (MRT)<\/b>.
<\/li> - Registered
Radiology Technologist (ARRT -R)<\/b>.
<\/li> - Registered
Mammography Technologist (ARRT -M)<\/b>.
<\/li><\/ul><\/ul>Experience & Skills<\/b>
<\/p>- Experience:<\/b> A minimum of 4 years of prior experience as a Mammography Technologist<\/b> is required.
<\/li> - Physical
Ability:<\/b> Ability to safely lift and/or maneuver patients in
conjunction with others to perform job functions.

Candidates with the following experience will be highly

experience with scheduling and patient workflow management<\/b>.
