Job Responsibilities (listed in order of importance and/or time spent):

  • Manage all financial reporting responsibilities, including monthly internal reporting, debt compliance, and external financial statement preparation in accordance with SEC requirements (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K).
  • Manage the team responsible for the research and documentation of all technical accounting issues, and lead implementation of new accounting pronouncements.
  • Manage/oversee acquisition purchase accounting.
  • Coordinate all external audit services with our external auditors.
  • Manage account reconciliation process utilizing ARC's module.
  • Develop and maintain all accounting policies and enforce compliance with policies.
  • Support the continued execution of key financial controls in accordance with defined process narratives and risk and control matrices, and oversee testing of the effectiveness of those controls, including managing day-to-day coordination with outsourced internal audit function.
  • Supervise and lead team responsible for the accounting for assets (cash, inventory, rebates, prepaids, fixed assets, intangibles).
  • Manage reporting aspects with our joint ventures, including review of monthly financial packages, preparation of board materials and presentations to the JV Board of Directors.
  • Assist the Controller and Assistant Controller with setting the strategic direction of the Accounting team, and leading the execution of that strategy.

(i.e. hiring, recommending/approving promotions and pay increases, scheduling, performance reviews, discipline, etc.)

Basic Education and/or Experience Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree and 8 to 12 years of experience in an analytical role in accounting, finance, or auditing.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of applicable accounting regulations and financial statement reporting requirements
  • Ability to research technical accounting issues and an understanding of GAAP
  • Experience with analyzing and reporting data in order to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive improvement of results and find solutions.
  • Experience in diagnosing, isolating, and resolving complex issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems
  • Ability to manage and lead multiple teams of individuals
  • Ability to understand and document process flows, identify process improvements, and lead those process improvements
  • Ability to manage external service providers (i.e. auditors).

Travel Requirements: (if required)

Periodic travel to our COE's/CMC's as applicable (~10%)

Preferred Qualifications & Interests (PQIs):

  • Master's degree in Accountancy or MBA
  • CPA designation.

Salary to be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

Pay Range is $126,505.85-$210,858.08
