Oracle Health is seeking a highly technical and experienced Senior Manager of Software Development to lead a team responsible for building and operating the Semantic Object Model platform. This internal platform enables teams to define, manage, govern, and operationalize semantic object models across Oracle Health products and services.

In this role, you will lead a Global-based team of approximately 8-10 software engineers while partnering closely with engineering leaders and globally distributed development teams. You will be responsible for technical execution, people leadership, operational excellence, and the delivery of scalable platform capabilities across three primary areas:

Platform Development: Semantic object models, platform frameworks, services, user-facing capabilities, and AI-enabled developer experiences.

Platform Operations: Data ingestion pipelines, data-shape analysis, AI agents, observability, reliability, and production operations.

Governance: Catalog services, schema management, controls, standards, and governance processes.

This is a highly visible leadership position that requires strong technical judgment, effective organizational influence, and the ability to communicate complex technical topics to engineering teams, product partners, and senior executives.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $118,300 to $264,100 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of software engineers responsible for designing, building, testing, deploying, and operating highly available application and platform services.
  • Establish clear objectives, priorities, and execution plans across multiple technical workstreams.
  • Partner with architects, senior engineers, product leaders, and engineering managers to define platform strategy, technical roadmaps, and delivery milestones.
