POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The Sr. Manager of Business Planning will serve as the leader of Axia’s Planning function, responsible for end-to-end business planning, financial performance management, and operational coordination across Sales, Operations, and Finance.

This role goes beyond analysis and reporting, requiring ownership of P&L, execution of planning cycles, and driving cross-functional alignment to ensure business targets are met.

The position will directly lead the Planning team and act as a control tower for Axia’s business performance, enabling fast and data-driven decision-making.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Planning Leadership

  • Lead Axia Business Planning & Finance function and manage Planning Part
  • Own and drive company-wide planning cycles (weekly, monthly, quarterly)
  • Establish and monitor key business KPIs and performance metrics
  • Act as the central coordination point across Sales, Operations, and Finance

P&L Ownership & Financial Management

  • Full ownership of Axia P&L, including:

    • Revenue, Cost, Expense tracking
    • Forecasting and variance analysis
  • Maintain and continuously improve P&L structure and reporting accuracy
  • Drive actionable insights from financial data to support decision-making

Forecasting & Performance Control

  • Lead revenue and cash flow forecasting (weekly/monthly/quarterly)
  • Monitor business performance and proactively identify risks and opportunities
  • Ensure alignment between forecast, execution, and financial outcomes

Cross-functional Execution & Coordination

  • Drive alignment between Sales pipeline, Operations capacity, and financial targets
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve operational bottlenecks
  • Support deal structuring and business strategy with financial insights

Administration & Risk Management

  • Oversee key administrative functions, including:

    • Insurance management
    • Compliance and internal controls
  • Identify and mitigate operational and financial risks

IT Infrastructure & Data Environment

  • Lead development and optimization of Axia IT infrastructure, including:
    • Salesforce
    • ERP (NetSuite)
    • Data warehouse / dashboards
  • Partner with internal/external teams to enhance automation and reporting capabilities
  • Drive transition toward data-driven and system-based planning

Strategic Planning & Growth Support

  • Support Axia’s expansion strategy through market and business analysis
  • Provide financial and operational insights for executive decision-making
  • Interface with HQ and global stakeholders as needed

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
  • Strong accounting and financial knowledge (required)
  • 7–12+ years of experience (Sr. Manager level depending on experience)

The salary range is required by the California Pay Transparency Act and may differ depending on the location of those candidates hired nationwide. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to, skill set, education, licenses and certifications, essential job duties and requirements, and the necessary experience relative to the job’s minimum qualifications.
