Senior Contracts Manager (TS/SCI Required)

The ideal Senior Contracts Manager with active TS/SCI will partner closely with executive leadership, program teams, finance, and marketing to proactively manage risk and ensure full compliance with all contractual obligations. seeking a highly experienced Senior Contracts Manager to lead complex federal contracting efforts, with a strong focus on Other Transactions (OT) and defense-related programs. This role serves as a key advisor, negotiator, and leader supporting high-visibility initiatives across the full acquisition lifecycle. Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary Subject Matter Expert on Other Transactions (OT) and lead contract strategy across assigned programs
  • Manage the full contract lifecycle, including negotiation, execution, compliance, and closeout of complex agreements
  • Lead high-stakes negotiations, balancing organizational objectives with customer and partner needs
  • Provide leadership and oversight to a contracts team, including workload management, mentoring, and performance review
  • Ensure all agreements comply with FAR/DFARS, company policies, and applicable federal regulations while mitigating risk

Key Requirements

  • 7+ years of federal contracting experience, including defense-focused or R&D contracting environments
  • Proven experience managing full acquisition lifecycle and leading complex contract negotiations
  • Strong knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and alternative acquisition methods (e.g., Other Transactions)
  • Prior leadership experience managing or mentoring teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Active TS/SCI clearance and Bachelor’s degree (DAWIA Level III or equivalent strongly preferred)

Preferred Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience structuring and managing Other Transaction (OT) agreements in accordance with 10 U.S.C. § 4021 & 4022
  • Strong knowledge of DoD acquisition policies, particularly supporting R&D programs and alternative contracting approaches
  • Prior experience operating as a warranted Contracting Officer (CO) or Agreements Officer (AO) with delegated authority
  • Familiarity working within a Consortium Management Organization (CMO) or similar collaborative contracting environment
  • DAWIA Level III Contracting certification (or equivalent advanced contracting certification/experience)
