Position Summary
The Senior Manager, Digital Solutions Development leads the design, development, and delivery of technical solutions across the eCommerce platform, focused on building applications, integrations, and services that address business needs. This role serves as both a strategic leader and hands-on contributor, responsible for building and leading a team of versatile engineers who develop, connect, and scale solutions across systems. The position oversees Solutions Development resources and the Front-End Web Development function, driving execution across key initiatives including CMS modernization, experimentation, AI-enabled solutions, mobile application development, and vendor replacement strategies.
Position Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
Optimize content for GEO and AEO to improve visibility across AI-driven search and answer platforms
Lead and manage the Solutions Development team, including Solutions Developers and Front-End Web Development
Act as a hands-on builder, designing and developing applications, services, and integrations
Lead migration and implementation efforts for a new headless CMS platform
Design and implement server-side A/B testing capabilities
Enable front end team to expand into modern frameworks and component-driven UI architecture
Build services to replace or reduce reliance on third-party vendor tags
Develop internal tools, dashboards, and applications to support business needs
Oversee vendor integrations and build reusable connectors across platforms
Drive development of mobile applications and supporting services
Design and implement email and messaging logic across systems
Leverage AI tools and services to accelerate development and enable new capabilities
Partner with IT to support AI infrastructure planning, implementation, and operational readiness for emerging tools and services
Drive adoption of agentic programming approaches where appropriate
Partner with Product, UX, QA, Analytics, and IT teams to translate needs into working solutions
Establish development standards, documentation practices, and scalable architecture patterns
Identify opportunities to improve speed, flexibility, and cost efficiency across the tech stack
Manage team performance, provide coaching, and build career paths
Qualifications
Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree (B.A. / B.S.) in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience. 7+ years of hands-on development experience across web, API, or systems integration. 2+ years of experience leading developers or technical teams. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual must have proficient experience in Microsoft 365 products. Must have strong Excel skills.
Certificates and Licenses: Google Analytics certification is preferred.
Supervisory Responsibilities: The position oversees team members, providing guidance and motivation to ensure high performance. This leadership role is accountable for driving the company's strategic direction and achieving board and shareholder objectives. Key responsibilities include developing and executing business strategies, implementing comprehensive plans, and ensuring compliance with policies and legal standards. The role fosters trust-based relationships with shareholders, partners, and authorities while delegating effectively and maintaining operational excellence.
Position Hiring Range
The hiring pay range provides a good faith estimate of the salary or hourly wage that Living Spaces expects to pay for the position upon hire. Pay will be determined by several factors, including, but not limited to: applicant's education, relevant work experience, knowledge, applicable and relevant skills and abilities, market demand, Company budget, as well as internal equity and alignment with geographic market data. Living Spaces reserves the right to modify this page at any time.
Compensation: $138,750.00 - $185,000.00
Overtime pay is available for eligible, non-exempt Team Members. Reimbursement for expenses as required by applicable law and Company policy. Retail, Guest Services and Distribution Center Team Members are eligible to receive team bonus based on meeting specific goals and KPI's.
