Overview
Job Purpose
The NYSE Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) Senior Manager, Product Strategy role will serve as a central relationship for ETF and CEF issuers. The candidate will collaborate with issuers on ETF sales and distribution strategy and connect NYSE clients to ETF listing, data, index and content opportunities across Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) and NYSE products.
This role requires deep expertise in sales, ETF market structure, communication, and client management. Candidates should be familiar with the U.S. ETF listing regulatory regime.
Responsibilities
Issuer Relationship Management & Consultative Sales
Serve as a primary point of contact for initial and ongoing sales outreach for new and existing ETF issuers, developing and maintaining deep, long-term client relationships.
Coordinate strategic & disciplined cross selling opportunities for ICE Index and ICE Data Services to target ETF issuers, administrators and market makers.
Demonstrate a competitive edge by engaging in the broader ETF ecosystem, maintaining current awareness of market trends, and ETF regulatory developments. Provide subject matter expertise.
Develop & execute strategic resource allocation plan for client focused NYSE media, ETF conferences, though leadership content and NYSE ETF events.
Cross-Functional Collaboration with ICE ETF Focused Products
Connect, promote and cross sell ICE Index Services, ICE Data Services and other ICE ETF focused products into new and existing NYSE listed ETF issuers.
Serve as the key conduit between issuers and NYSE''s internal functions, including Regulation, Legal, Operations, Trade Operations, Events, and Marketing.
Market Structure & Ecosystem Engagement
Develop relationships with ETP market-making firms, with an emphasis on ETF liquidity providers and NYSE Floor DMM firms.
Serve issuers through data driven engagement on liquidity programs and market maker performance metrics.
Thought Leadership, Client Outreach & External Representation
Build an external presence for the NYSE''s ETF listings businesses, with participation at industry conferences, issuer events, industry panels, and professional associations.
Support ETF issuers in developing ETF centric content highlighting industry trends and product innovations.
Knowledge and Experience
New York Base Salary Range
The expected base salary for this role, if located in New York, is between $160,000 - $210,000 USD. The base salary range does not include Intercontinental Exchange's incentive compensation. While we provide this range as general guidance, at ICE we compensate employees based on the skillset and experience of the individual. Regular full-time ICE employees are eligible for a suite of competitive employee benefits, including healthcare coverage (medical, dental and vision), a 401(k) plan, life insurance, time off, and paid leave for qualifying circumstances.
