KPMG is currently seeking a BTS Senior Manager AMCS Fixed Asset to join our Business Tax Services practice.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct and manage fixed asset accounting method reviews and assessments by designing and implementing projects related to tangible property regulations (primarily repairs and dispositions), depreciation, cost segregation and sustainability)
• Liaise with members of KPMGs Washington National Tax practice on various technical matters
• Assist in new business development, including add-on business, while sustaining excellent client service by networking within the firm and building on existing relationships outside of the firm
• Research technical issues, prepare reports, and propose viable solutions
• Provide quality assurance, engagement review and exam support
• Coordinate and collect information from architects, engineers, and contractors

Qualifications:

• Minimum eight years of recent experience within federal corporate income tax in a large accounting firm, corporation, or law firm
• Bachelors degree from an accredited college/university; Masters degree from an accredited college/university in engineering preferred
• Licensed CPA, EA or JD/LLM, in addition to others on KPMGs approved credential listing; any individual who does not possess at least one of the approved designations/credentials when their employment commences, has one year from their date of hire to obtain at least one of the approved designations/credentials; should you like to see the complete list of currently approved designations/credentials for the hiring practice/service line, your recruiter can provide you with that list
• Desire to focus on non-routine and non-recurring tax advisory and project related work
• Experience managing multiple client engagements and client service teams
