Senior Manager, FPandA

The client are a global technology, manufacturing and production company that are FULLY REMOTE. They are looking for a new FP&A leader to be a main finance business partner to the main senior leadership team. The successful Senior Manager, FPandA MUST have a strong background in FPandA (modeling, dashboards etc.), whilst also having a background from a manufacturing company.

Client Details

The client have a global presence, with manufacturing plants based across North America and Europe. The successful candidate will work fully remotely, but will be required to travel to a few places (Sweden (Europe), Everett (WA) etc.) every 1-2 months. The role reports directly to both the CFO and General Manager of the company, there is scope for the Senior Manager, FPandA to lead a team within the next year and there is progression possible within the business, and into a number of the parent company's other subsidiaries.

Description

The successful Senior Manager, FPandA will:

• Partner with exec/senior leadership (including C-suite) to deliver on financial goals.
• Own the full P&L for the manufacturing business unit.
• Mentor FP&A talent to build an organization of high impact players with a pathway for continued career advancement.
• Business Partner closely with senior leaders across all areas of the business (mainly Rand D, sales, commercial and product teams)
• Drive profitable growth by working alongside commercial, product and engineering teams to solve problems and close gaps.
• Budgeting and Forecasting.
• Monthly variance analysis (with commentary).
• Cost Controls.
• Advance our controls environment by ensuring strong cost visibility throughout the organization as well as accountability to monthly, quarterly and full-year budgets.
• Operate from a baseline of strong analytical and data-based logic in the development of forecasts, problem solving, and project delivery.
• Function as a strategic thought leader within your business unit with a drive to innovate and a passion for execution.
• Partner with the accounting team to ensure SOX and accounting policy compliance across the business.
• Drive process improvements and efficiencies across the business.
• Lead various ad hoc projects.

Profile

The successful Senior Manager, FPandA will:

• Have a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in finance/FPandA roles
• 3 years in a leadership capacity
• MUST have a background in tech/electronics/appliance manufacturing
• MUST have strong FPandA experience (financial modeling, dash-boarding etc.)
• Prior working knowledge of Oracle and Hyperion
• Prior experience partnering with senior/exec leadership as a strategic partner
• Advanced Excel skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Job Offer

• $140,000 - $165,000
• Bonus (disc.)
