We are looking for a strategic and experienced Senior Manager, Global HazardCommunications.This role is critical to ensuring PPG meets all global regulatory, corporate, and customer requirementsforproduct hazard communicationthat are necessarytomanufacture, distribute, and commercialize productsworldwide.
As a senior leader, you will oversee the developmentand systems for authoringcompliant Safety Data Sheets (SDS), hazard evaluations, andproductwarninglabelsacross our global product portfolio. You will also guide consistency, efficiency, and progress in hazard communication processes to support business growth. This hybrid role will sit in our Monroeville, PA office and will report to theGlobalDirector of Product Stewardship.
Responsibilities
Global Strategy & Leadership
Develop a global hazard communication strategy aligned with regulatory requirements and PPG goals
Be the subject matter expert and trusted advisor to business leaders, regulatory teams, and product stewardship partners
Lead and develop a global team
Regulatory Compliance & SDS Oversight
Ensure the creation, accuracy, and maintenance of compliant Safety Data Sheets (SDS) across all regions
Oversee hazard classifications and evaluations following GHS and regional regulations
Ensureproductlabeling compliance, including hazard warnings and product communication requirements
Process & Systems Management
Manage hazard communication systems and tools to support global compliance and operational efficiency
Improve and standardizeworkflows, data integrity, and digital capabilities
Global Coordination & Governance
Monitor and interpret global regulatory changes and ensure implementation
Collaborate with Product Stewardship, Regulatory Affairs,S&T, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams
Establish global governance frameworks, policies, and procedures
Balance regulatory requirements with speed, cost-efficiency, and customer needs
Contribute toPPG’sproductivity improvements and growth goals
