Job Summary:
As a Senior Manager, Infrastructure, will lead the design, implementation, and operations of core infrastructure systems across on-premises and cloud environments.
This is a hands-on leadership role that blends strategic planning with day-to-day execution.
Collaborate with Security, Compliance, and IT teams to ensure our infrastructure is secure, resilient, and scalable, while also guiding a team of engineers and managing key vendors.
Required Skills:
1. Anchor Skill: AWS Architect with Cloud Networking (OR)
2. Anchor Skill: Network Security (Palo Alto Firewall, AWS Cloud Networking and Enterprise Cisco Network)
3. Supplementary Skill: Project Management with PMP certification
Other skills in VMware, Nutanix, Vulnerability Management and Life science regulations is an added advantage in addition to above 2 skills. Look for Architect level profiles who s doing hand-on in these technologies with experience in project management. Customer is seeking for 50/50 in tech and project management.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the performance, availability, and security of enterprise infrastructure, including network, compute, storage, and virtualization platforms.
Lead cloud infrastructure initiatives, enabling scalable and secure environments for business applications.
Implement and maintain secure networking practices, working closely with security and compliance teams to meet regulatory and internal standards.
Drive automation and monitoring efforts to increase infrastructure reliability and reduce manual overhead.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to infrastructure engineers and support teams.
Respond to infrastructure incidents, lead root cause analysis, and drive corrective actions.
Manage infrastructure-related vendors, service contracts, and procurement planning.
Qualifications:
8+ years of IT infrastructure experience, including 3+ years in a senior technical or leadership role.
Strong hands-on experience in network security, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS), and virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware).
Proven ability to lead infrastructure projects from planning through implementation and support.
Solid understanding of enterprise networking concepts, access controls, and system hardening.
Experience supporting systems in regulated environments (e.g., GxP, HIPAA, SOX) is a plus.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional technical efforts.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Relevant certifications are required (AWS Architect or PCNSE) with PMP.
