In this role, you''ll serve as a trusted trading partner to institutional and high-value clients, executing block orders while delivering exceptional service and market insight. You''ll evaluate market conditions, understand client objectives, and apply a range of execution strategies to help clients achieve their desired outcomes.

You''ll work in a fast-paced environment where critical thinking, relationship management, and trading expertise come together. Every day brings new opportunities to analyze market dynamics, manage complex orders, and educate clients on trading approaches that support quality execution.

As an Equity, ETF, and Options Trader, you''ll:

  • Execute institutional block order flow using multiple execution strategies, including trading algorithms, ETF request-for-quote processes, and complex multi-leg options strategies.
  • Assess market conditions and apply macroeconomic and market structure knowledge to support trading decisions.
  • Manage multiple complex orders simultaneously while maintaining accuracy, urgency, and attention to client needs.
  • Build trusted relationships by actively listening to clients, understanding their objectives, and communicating special handling instructions clearly.
  • Educate clients and internal partners on trading strategies, execution options, and order handling considerations.
  • Collaborate across teams to deliver an exceptional client experience while maintaining a strong focus on risk management and regulatory requirements.

What you have

To be successful in this role, you''ll bring a combination of trading expertise, relationship management capabilities, and the ability to navigate rapidly changing market environments.

Required Qualifications

  • Active FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses
  • Minimum of 10 years in Equity, ETF and Options trading
  • Expert knowledge of institutional trading, market structure, and the regulatory landscape impacting the Financial Services Industry
  • Expertise in trading technology used by both the trading team and clients, including external and internal applications such as Bloomberg, Trafix, thinkorswim, or similar trading technologies
  • Ability to articulate complex trading strategies to sophisticated clients and internal business partners with the purpose of educating and delivering on superior trade execution quality
  • Advanced understanding of portfolio margin and the impact of trading strategies
  • Excellent relationship management skills, including collaborating, influencing, and negotiating. Ability to solve complex problems, interact effectively with individuals at various levels, adapt to changing environments, and think creatively
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous or active FINRA Series 9/10 or 24 licenses

In addition to a base salary, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
