Overview:
This position is responsible for defining and executing the strategic vision for product operations across the Investment Solutions platform. This role is critical to the bank's performance, ensuring the alignment of front-office execution, operational infrastructure, and technology capabilities to deliver scalable, efficient, and controlled solutions that drive revenue growth and enhance client outcomes.
Provides leadership over complex operating models, ensuring seamless integration, optimization, and continuous advancement of business processes and systems. Exercises significant executive judgment in highly complex and dynamic environments, making decisions that directly impact revenue, risk exposure, and strategic outcomes. A core responsibility of the role is ownership of the control environment, with deep expertise in the three lines of defense model. As a leader of leaders, the position is accountable for organizational capability, including talent strategy, leadership development, and succession planning.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership and Vision - Defines and executes long-term operational strategy aligned to business growth, client needs, and enterprise priorities. Anticipates industry trends, regulatory shifts, and evolving client expectations to position the organization proactively. Translates strategy into actionable, measurable outcomes across functions. Ensures operational strategies and processes enhance client experience and outcomes
- Decision Making and Judgement - Exercises sound judgment in complex, high-risk, and ambiguous environments. Balances revenue, client impact, and risk considerations in enterprise-level decisions. Establishes decision frameworks and governance to enable consistent, scalable outcomes
- Operational Excellence and Transformation - Drives large-scale process optimization, automation, and operating model evolution. Champions continuous improvement to enhance efficiency, scalability, and client experience. Leads transformation initiatives from concept through execution with measurable impact. Ensures disciplined execution, stakeholder readiness, and adoption across the organization. Aligns operational decisions with financial performance and business objectives
- Risk Management & Control Leadership - Deep expertise in the three lines of defense and enterprise control environment. Ensures robust control design, execution, and sustainability across operations. Proactively identifies, assesses, and mitigates operational, regulatory, and reputational risks. Partners effectively with Risk, Compliance, and Audit to maintain strong governance
- Organizational Leadership & Talent Development - Builds and leads high-performing, scalable teams and leadership pipelines. Establishes training frameworks and fosters a culture of continuous learning. Coaches and develops leaders, strengthening succession and organizational capability
- Investment Solutions Product & Platform Expertise - Maintains deep understanding of investment products, operational processes, and supporting technologies. Ensures seamless integration across front office, operations, and technology platforms. Guides product and platform evolution to support innovation and scalability
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in Operational leadership in a financial institution OR High School Diploma or GED and 10 years of experience in Operational leadership in a financial institution
