Our client is a privately held, small investment company with several billion in assets under management.  Our client is looking to hire a senior-level professional to oversee the accounting and performance of the assets managed.  This is a technical role, with significant compliance and reporting responsibility.  The Senior Manager will work with an outside Fund Administrator to make sure the Administrator is properly accounting, recording, and reporting to the Company the fund's financials and performance. 

There are three primary functions of the Senior Manager:

1. Verify the accounting and performance accuracy of the Administrator daily
2. Ensure all daily operations and administration activities of the Administrator follow established processes and are reconciled daily
3. Work with all stakeholders on year-end tasks such as audits and tax preparation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in accounting or finance
• CPA or CFA
• 5-10 years of investment industry experience
• Wide range of investment products: funds, real estate, etc.
• Highly organized
• Ability to work with and communicate with various internal and external stakeholders
• Experience with third-party administrators
• Salary range: $165K to $175.0K
