About the Role:

The Senior Manager, Business Applications (Japan) is responsible for end-to-end solution design, implementation and deployment of Insmed's Japan Business Applications portfolio. We are looking for a driven, results-oriented leader to lead the effort in building Insmed's next generation of systems used to automate and optimize our critical Japan business applications and processes. What You'll Do:

• Provides system support to the business ensuring accurate and timely processing of all Japan Business applications including (Oracle Supply Chain and Financial applications).
• Provides support to the Japan Supply Chain and Finance user community to improve the efficiency of the group through features and functions available in Oracle ERP Cloud.
• Challenges existing methods, processes and tools to optimize utilization and efficiency of Oracle ERP Cloud and associated integrations.
• Provides user training and assistance as needed.
• Supports the integration of acquisitions. This support may include mapping data, data conversions, system configuration, and business process revisions.
• Plays a key role in the integration of new requirements, solution architecture and process improvements into the system and process flow, including the evaluation and introduction of additional technology to meet business requirements.
• Coordinates with stakeholders to evaluate and make changes to Oracle ERP Cloud systems to maintain compliance with corporate standards while balancing global vs local needs.
• Assists with the planning and implementation of business systems changes because of significant organizational structure changes to support business growth.
• Performs as team lead and strategic business partner on Japan business systems projects, upgrades and/or integration of new applications.
• Assists with business process improvement initiatives.
• Ensure reliable technology and process methods are in place to provide accurate results and consistent system performance.
• Drive continuous improvement, best practices and improving standard operating procedures for the organization.
• Lead onshore/offshore team to manage requirements, design, configuration and testing for multiple IT initiatives.
• Provides governance over quality of delivered services.

Support activities related to Internal & External audit, SOX, GDPR, etc. compliance.

• Ability to read, write and speak fluent in Japanese and English, using appropriate grammar, style and vocabulary.
• Advance organizational AI capabilities through cross‑functional solution development, effective management of AI platforms, and ongoing upskilling within the IT team.
• Possess strong organizational skills and ability to demonstrate a systematic approach in carrying out assignments. Very detail oriented and excels at working with ambiguity.
• Demonstrate sound judgement and decisiveness when navigating complex business challenges.

Ability to work with cross functional technical teams including operating systems, network, security, middleware and compliance.

Who You Are:

• 7-10 years of experience with Oracle ERP (On Premise and/or Cloud) applications with four years of experience working with Oracle ERP, P2P and Supply Chain Cloud applications.

• 7-10 years of experience in a Senior Information Technology related position.

• Minimum 3 years of experience supporting Oracle ERP Cloud applications within Japan region.

• 7-10 years of defining, scoping, scaling and managing technology initiatives from a business applications perspective

• 7-10 years of leveraging technology to improve system processes.

• 5+ years of experience managing teams and major strategic projects within a global organization

• 5+ years of experience managing in an offshore delivery model.

• Strong communication and language skills in both Japanese and English (Required).

• Experience in Record-To-Report, Procure-To-Pay, Order-To-Cash, Tax and other financial business processes

• Excellent command of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process

• Solid understanding of Data Structure, Controls and End-to-End Flow

• Expertise with Oracle Integration Cloud preferred

• Critical thinking, systems and business background, and communications skills are critical for this strategic and complex role.

• Experience leading full life cycle Oracle E-Business Suite and/or ERP Cloud implementations.

• Working knowledge of Cloud integration middleware products OIC, Mulesoft etc.

• Experience dealing with a varied set of customers across the world.

• Experience in developing and executing test plans is required.

• Experience with AIM Methodology, Business Process Engineering and Project Management tools and/or similar ERP implementation methodologies is required.
