What you will do::
• Lead enterprise architecture for HR and corporate functions capabilities across QXO and acquired operating companies, including human capital management, payroll, benefits, identity touchpoints, legal, compliance, communications, facilities, and administrative platforms
• Define and evolve the target architecture supporting QXO’s HR and corporate functions platforms, including Oracle HCM, workforce data, employee experience tools, corporate workflow platforms, and adjacent operational systems
• Support acquisition diligence by evaluating HR and corporate function system landscapes and defining pragmatic integration strategies for newly acquired businesses
• Design scalable architecture patterns that enable QXO to rapidly onboard acquired employees and corporate functions while progressing toward standardized enterprise platforms
• Define, document, and enforce architectural standards and patterns for HR platforms, employee data flows, workflow systems, integrations, and corporate function applications across the enterprise
• Partner with HR, Legal, Compliance, Communications, Applications, Engineering, Data & Analytics, Security, Infrastructure, and Integration teams to align technology approaches and sequencing
• Translate HR and corporate function objectives into clear technical decisions and execution plans
• Guide platform and integration decisions across HCM, payroll, benefits, talent, workforce management, identity, service management, document management, workflow, and collaboration ecosystems
• Identify architecture risks early and reduce operational disruption during acquisitions, employee onboarding, platform transitions, and corporate function harmonization efforts
• Balance speed and pragmatism with architectural coherence across a rapidly growing enterprise
• Influence teams and stakeholders to align on architecture decisions without direct authority
• Provide clear recommendations and say “no” when required, with credibility grounded in employee impact, data sensitivity, compliance risk, cost, and delivery feasibility
What you will bring::
Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Human Resources, Business,Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
Specialized Knowledge
• Enterprise HR platforms and corporate function architectures
• ERP/HCM-driven environments including HR master data, payroll, benefits, talent, workforce management, identity, and employee lifecycle processes
• Corporate function systems including legal, compliance, communications, facilities, service management, document management, workflow, and collaboration platforms
• Employee data flows, HR integrations, identity dependencies, security considerations, and operational reporting
• Architecture patterns supporting employee onboarding, acquired-company integration, corporate function harmonization, and multi-entity enterprises
• Data privacy, compliance, access control, and sensitive employee data handling considerations
Skills
• Strong system-level thinking and architectural judgment
• Ability to translate HR and corporate function processes into scalable technology architectures
• Ability to communicate technical concepts in clear, business-oriented language
• Stakeholder management across HR, legal, compliance, communications, applications, engineering, security, and business teams

Experience
• 8+ years in enterprise architecture, HR systems architecture, corporate functions architecture, applications architecture, or related roles
• Demonstrated experience designing and governing HR, HCM, payroll, benefits, employee lifecycle, workflow, or corporate function platforms
• Experience supporting Oracle HCM, Workday, Microsoft 365, employee experience platforms, or related enterprise systems strongly preferred
• Experience supporting acquisitions, employee onboarding, system harmonization, or multi-entity environments strongly preferred

- Base pay range: $140,400 - $210,600
