ABOUT REFORM ALLIANCE
REFORM, founded in the wake of the #FreeMeek movement, is committed to transforming probation and parole throughout the United States by changing laws, systems, and culture. The organization is working to replace America's criminal justice system with a restorative approach that is fair, accountable, and invested in rehabilitation. Our goal is for people to reenter society with dignity, create meaningful pathways to work, and equip them with the tools to succeed — all while making families and communities safer and stronger. REFORM Alliance operates as both a 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(4) organization, allowing us to drive meaningful criminal justice reform through a combination of charitable initiatives and advocacy efforts.

ABOUT THE ROLE
REFORM Alliance is seeking a Senior Manager, Marketing to be the operational backbone of the Marketing & Communications team — the person who takes campaigns, content programs, and high-profile moments from concept through delivery without letting anything stall. You'll build and run the timelines, workflows, and creative review processes that keep our storytelling, campaigns, and thought leadership moving on schedule, while working directly with executives, cross-functional partners, and outside stakeholders on some of the organization's highest-visibility moments.

This role is on the Marketing & Communications team and reports directly to the VP, Marketing & Communications.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Program & Timeline Management (40%)

  • Own end-to-end marketing program management: planning, timelines, and execution from concept through delivery across campaigns, webinars, social content, and thought leadership initiatives.
  • Build and maintain campaign and program timelines that keep creative, digital, and executive teams aligned and on schedule.
  • Serve as a trusted operational partner for high-profile executives on content programs,  speaking engagements, and major events, exercising sound judgment and composure in high-stress, time-sensitive situations.

Creative Review, Approval & Cross-Team Collaboration (40%)

  • Build and manage structured creative review and approval workflows that move campaigns through stakeholder sign-off quickly and predictably.
  • Partner with design, content, and leadership stakeholders to simplify and speed up internal review cycles without sacrificing quality or brand consistency.
  • Identify and resolve bottlenecks in the creative pipeline, proactively flagging timeline risks.
  • Act as the connective tissue across marketing, policy, community engagement, design, content, and executive leadership to keep marketing initiatives moving in lockstep.
  • Coordinate inputs and approvals across teams for campaigns, events, and thought leadership moments, ensuring every stakeholder has what they need, when they need it.

Content Creation (10%)

  • Collaborate with subject-matter experts and leadership to translate policy, program, and storytelling priorities into clear, compelling content.
  • Write and produce marketing content, including blog posts, Q&A-style interviews, and other storytelling formats that support campaigns and thought leadership.

Other Duties as Assigned (10%)

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of experience in marketing program or project management, ideally including planning, timelines, and execution of campaigns from concept through delivery using tools like Google Workspace, Trello, Hootsuite, and others.
  • Demonstrated experience building and managing creative review/approval workflows that keep stakeholders aligned and campaigns on schedule. Track record of developing timelines for creative campaigns, webinars, social media, or high-profile events.
  • Experience supporting or working directly with senior executives on content programs, speaking engagements, or major events, with strong judgment and professionalism under pressure.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment where experimentation and quick response are part of the daily rhythm.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience writing marketing content such as blog posts, social posts, one-sheets, and Q&A interviews.
  • A collaborative, cross-functional operating style, comfortable working across design, digital, communications, and executive teams.
  • Genuine passion for criminal justice reform and REFORM Alliance's mission. Nonprofit, advocacy, or mission-driven organization experience is a strong plus, though not required.

Please know that no one ever meets 100% of the preferred qualifications. If much of this describes you, we encourage you to apply.

WHY REFORM ALLIANCE
This is a rare opportunity to bring startup-caliber marketing operations discipline to a mission where speed and execution aren't just about hitting deadlines — they're about getting urgent, high-stakes stories and campaigns in front of the people who can act on them.
